The National Board of Zakat (BAZNAS) is calling for a message of togetherness in the Zakat Awakening movement. The invitation is directed to the society to move together to build a nation with their own capabilities.

"Today we are calling for the Message of Togetherness. BAZNAS will strengthen this nation with zakat, while others can contribute in their own strengths and fields," said the Director of Coordination, Communication and Information of National Zakat, Arifin Purwakananta in Jakarta on Monday (22/5).

He hoped the message of togetherness gives meaning to this country in accordance with the headline “When All Moves Together”. The message was delivered in a sympathetic action followed by about 100 participants around Monas, Jakarta. The participants used uniforms of various professions, including doctors, farmers, athletes and ulama. They describe the community togetherness in the race to give the best to Indonesia.

"BAZNAS invites people to come back together, to give a good example in building this nation," he said.

Amil or the zakat administrators also took part in this action. As a profession that holds the trust of people's fund, BAZNAS amil seeks the best to serve muzaki and mustahik through various excellent programs.

In Ramadan 1438 H, BAZNAS is committed to serve at least 23,150 mustahik through 10 programs, namely Ramadhan Bareng Bahagia Bareng (Ramadhan Together, Happy Together), BAZNAS Caring for Women Prisoners, Launching of Khutbah Zakat Book, 99 Sparkling Mosque, Mudik Standby, Umar Bin Khatab, Ramadhan Together with Elderly, Healthy Terrace and Happy Ramadan Packages.

At the regional level, the Provincial BAZNAS and the Regency/City BAZNAS have also prepared various creative programs that are increasingly beneficial to mustahik.
